Hello everyone, my name is Andrew. Nodoka Sugiyama from Musashino Art University and I are the coordinators of the Post-Crisis Reconstruction roundtable. I am also the liaison between the Japanese and American executive committees of the 64th JASC.I am currently a junior at Baylor University in Waco, TX where I am in the honors program majoring in Economics. I have attended the Economic Scholars Program held at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas for two years and I am a member of the Japanese Honors Society. I also was a member of the Baylor Fencing Club, founded the Baylor Microfinance Club, and have participated in the Moot Court program at Baylor.Being a delegate for the 63rd JASC changed my life. I met so many amazing people in a unique environment filled with trust and a desire to learn. I acquired new perspectives by spending an entire month with people from many universities from Japan and America uniting for a single purpose. I felt humbled and honored to participate in something as special as JASC and I hope to help make the 64th JASC a great experience for you all!

What’s up, everyone! My name is Jose, and I am currently a junior and Japanese major at Duke University in North Carolina. I was born in Cuba, but I moved to the United States when I was seven years old and I have lived in West Palm Beach, Florida ever since. I’m about as nerdy as it gets, and when it comes to video games, manga, and anime, I consider myself somewhat of an expert. I also love to read epic fantasy books such as George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire. Nowadays most of my free time consists of playing League of Legends, which is pretty much my favorite computer game of all time.

My interest in Japan actually comes from my childhood, when I would watch anime shows like Dragonball Z and Rurouni Kenshin every afternoon, and play Super Mario and Final Fantasy. Ever since then I had always wanted to learn Japanese and visit Japan. Thanks to the 63rd JASC I finally got my chance to go to Japan, and it was everything I could have dreamed of. In fact, JASC was probably the best experience of my life. I loved it so much that I want to continue the JASC legacy by helping to make the 64th JASC the most successful one yet!
