Hi Everyone! My name is Rachel Horton and I am currently a senior at Villanova University in Villanova, Pennsylvania. I was born and raised in Downingtown, Pennsylvania (only 40 minutes from my school) and I am very proud Villanova/Phillies/Eagles fan! I am majoring in Mathematics and my minor is Japanese. As of right now, I have no clue what I want to do in the field of math but being a math major has opened many doors to different fields and job opportunities. On campus, I am the President of Club Swimming and the Japanese Club.
Becoming a delegate of the 63rd Japan-America Student Conference was a dream come true. The other delegates were amazing, the discussions were inspiring, and the experience was priceless. JASC was the most worthwhile and educational month of my college career and the executive committees in both the United States and Japan are working hard to ensure that the 64th JASC is a memorable one!
